Welcome to FoulHook.com. My name is Nick and I have lived in the mountains of Western North Carolina for my entire life. I have been a fisherman my entire life; even though I grew up surrounded by trout, I always enjoy fishing for other species including bass and saltwater species. I started fly fishing and fly tying around age 12, and the rest, as they say, is history. Most of my free time is occupied by tracking down wild trout in the small freestone streams that populate the southern Appalachian Mountains.
